Nance slide her hands up under my shirt as I kissed down her neck, her fingernails scratched at my skin and I groan, telling her that loved it when she did that.
"Tanner?" Nance went stiff under my lips. I glanced up at her and she was standing there with this outraged look on her face. I asked her what was up. "My name is Nancy! Or Nance!" She snapped at me.
"Umm, I know what your name is, I've been saying it for the part four years Nance."
"Then why did you call me Sara just now?" She pushed me away from her, "Who have you been screwing around with?"
"Who have I...?" I shook my head and just laughed. "It's none of your business who I've been seeing since you kicked me out of the house!"
"Oh?" She crossed her arms and glared at me. "You mean the house that you lost when you went into 'business' with those jerks?"
"Don't even start Nance, it's over and done with, get over it!"
"Get over it?" She shrieked, "How could you have been so stupid to get involved with those guys? You knew their rep in town and you still used my house as collateral for that stupid loan!"
"It was a legitimate business Nance! How was I supposed to know that they were going to be using the restaurant as a cover to peddle crack? You knew I wanted the restaurant and that was the only way I could get it!"
"It was always about you, wasn't it? Never once did you stop and think about me!"
I took a step back from her, took a deep breath and then spoke. "Everything I did was for you! You didn't want to work! I was trying to get the business off the ground and make enough so that you wouldn't ever have too! You wanted to get married and I was trying to make that happen!"
"Oh right, it was all for me!" Nance rolled her eyes, she had already covered herself up and I was really thankful for that, for once I didn't want to see her naked. "The big pile of ash and soot was a great gift Tanner!"
"Of course it was all for you, you selfish bitch!" I yelled at her. "I worked my ass off to try and give you want you wanted but what did you ever do for me? You wouldn't even talk to me after the restaurant went up in smoke, you thought I burnt the damn thing down! It was the only thing making me happy!"
Silence settled over the room as Nance glared at me. My first thought was to say I was sorry but I didn't, I wasn't sorry I said it, it needed to be said - I wasn't happy with Nance.
"I think you should go," she hissed.
I nodded, "Yeah I think so too."
I left the hotel, drove straight home and crawled into bed to get some sleep before my shift that night.
It had been a whole day but I swear I would still catch a whiff of Sara's scent when I rolled over onto my stomach.
I didn't get much sleep that day. When I fell asleep, I would dream of Sara. She would be with me and then suddenly she would be gone and I wasn't able to find her again.
That night, I was half asleep as I walked to work. I was late leaving my house so I didn't expect to see Sara at all but not long after I turned onto the highway, she went flying by. She didn't look like she was going to stop but suddenly her break lights came on and she whipped her car around to come back for me.
"Hey," I smiled at her when I got in her car. I wasn't sure how I should act after Saturday afternoon so I just sat there, staring out the window as she spun the car around and stepped on the gas.
There wasn't a work spoke until we turned into the parking lot. "Fuck me," Sara muttered. "What is he doing here?"
"Who?" I scanned the parking lot, not seeing anyone but there was a truck I didn't know sitting next to the spot Sara always parks in.
"Ken," she said as she slid into the spot and shifted into park. Without wasting any time, she turned off the car and jumped out, into the arms of the guy who had gotten out of the pickup beside us.
"Did you miss me?" Sara asked Ken after giving him a kiss.
Instead of answering her, Ken watched me get out of her car. "Who's your friend?" I want to say he asked but it sounded more like demanding to know to me.
Sara looked over her shoulder at me, then turned. "Tanner," she smiled at me. "I'd like you to meet my boyfriend, Ken." Her hand laid flat against Ken's chest when she said his name and all I could think of what waking up with her in my arms.
I mumbled something that I hoped sounded like 'nice to meet you' and then I excused myself. Billy was at the entrance when I got there, he was watching Sara. "Makes you wonder, doesn't it?"
"What does?" I asked as I went to open the door.
Billy gave me a funny look and laughed, "You don't fool me for a minute buddy, I know you have a thing for Sara." His smile faded a little, "There's no point in even dreaming of that one, I've been trying to get her away from him for the last couple years."
I told him I didn't know what he was talking about, "Who Sara is dating isn't my concern."
"Whatever you say buddy," Billy took one last look at Sara with Ken before entering the building in front of me.
Work that night sucked, I wasn't in the mood to be there.

Meeting The Ex
When I say morning, I know a few of you are picturing bright sunny days with bird chirping, paperboys delivering the news, the smell of bacon in the air and and what not. But when I said morning, I really meant it was almost four in the afternoon!
So I woke up harder than calculus, and yes I realize that was a horrible joke but that's not the point. The point was so in my pants, poking Sara in the ass! I tried to think of something not to hot but then I would look down at her and I lost the good fight.
Actually, I gave up fighting and decided to just let myself enjoy the feel of her in my arms. Plus my hand was just below her tits! I was debating on 'accidentally' grabbing her when she started to stir, rubbing that ass against my aching cock.
She groaned, she sounded so happy as she grabbed my hand in hers and held it against her chest. Then she was still, I thought she had fallen back to sleep so I tried to pull my hand of her chest so that I could move away but she groaned again, shifting her position and then she turned towards me.
I like to think that she wanted me that badly but I knew she wasn't really awake when she snuggled up tight to me. Her hand was on my chest, absently tracing unknown symbols. She felt so damn good it did absolutely nothing to help with the concrete slab in my pants. I wanted to pull her on top of me and have her grind her hips against mine. I wanted to hear her gasps of pleasure as I slide deep into her. Fuck, I was so horny and even now, just thinking about it, I'm hard.
"I'm cold," she shivered against my body. I wanted to tell her that if she let me take her clothes off, she wouldn't be cold anymore.
"There's a blanket..." I felt her tense against me. "What's wrong Sara?"
"Tanner?" She jumped up and stared down at me in utter shock. "What the hell are you...?" She looked around, saw the time and jumped off the bed. "Oh no!" She cried. "Ken is going to kill me!"
"Whoa wait a minute!" I jumped up and stood in front of her. "Who's Ken? And why would he kill you?"
"My boyfriend!" She exclaimed as she looked around the room for something. "He didn't want me to go out last night, he wanted me to stay at his place and sit around while he had his friends over. I didn't want to sit around and be ignored, I told him that. He got mad and started to say all this stuff that..." she stopped and looked at me. "He thinks that you are only interested in being my friend because you think it'll get you in my pants."
I tried really hard not to look down at my still stiff cock but she seemed to know what I was thinking, she glanced down. "Tanner please tell me that's not true."
"Of course not!" I wanted to get into her pants but I wasn't pretending to be her friend just to do that. "This is a natural thing for me," I motioned towards my cock, drawing her eyes back to it. She looked doubtful and I went on to make up some supermodel that I was dreaming about which she seemed to buy.
Sara left shortly after, telling me that she had a good time the night before.
The rest of Saturday passed without much of anything happening. Luke did call me to find out where the hell I was the night before and I told him a friend needed me. He told me that he hoped the tail was good because I missed an awesome party.
Sunday morning I tried to get some sleep before I went into town to meet up with Nance, my ex. I had borrowed my parents car so I didn't have to walk into town and I arrived at the coffee shop a few minutes before Nance did.
I was sitting at a table in the back corner of the shop, eating the cheesecake that I bought when I glanced up to see Nance walking towards me. She hadn't changed at all from the last time I saw her. Tall, thin, salon blond hair down her back, huge man made rack where I spent many hours playing when we were together. She walked with confidence, well aware that all the guys in the coffee shop were staring at her tits, hoping that the tiny top she wore would rip apart right in front of their eyes.
"Tanner!" She squealed as she got closer to me. I stood up to say 'hello' and she threw her arms around my neck, pulling me into a full body hug and then released me to ask if she could have the rest of my cheesecake.
And because I was distracted by her exposed cleavage, I let her have the cheesecake, even though I really wanted it.
"Why are you here Nance?" I asked her, getting a little turned on by the way she licked the spoon clean after every taste.
"I was a fool," she pouted. "You were the best thing that ever happened to me and I let a couple mistakes ruin the love we had for each other."
"Mistakes?" I stared at her. "Nance, I lost everything we owned to those guys! I didn't realize that they were so connected to the wrong crowd."
"Of course you didn't baby," she ran a manicured nail over my hand.
"What do you want from me?" I asked her.
"I want you back," she told me. "I miss you so much and," she lifted her hands to her tits and squeezed them together, "so do the girls!"
"Let's get out of here," I jumped up and grabbed her hand, leading her to the door. "Where did you say you were staying?" She told me the name of the hotel and then hopped into her car.
I followed her to her hotel and up into her room. Once the door was closed, I pushed her up against the door, kissing her hard while I released her tits from their confines.
God it felt so good to touch her again...

Friday's Non Party Night
Friday night I was waiting by the door for Sara to come. Ten came and went and she was no where to be seen, I was pacing the floor because I didn't have a number to call to see if she was alright or coming or what and she didn't have my number.
"You are still here?" My mom walked into the kitchen in her old bathrobe, she sat down at the table and watched me pace the floor. "Tanner why don't you sit down?"
"I can't," I told her as I paced.
"You didn't tell me who you were meeting tonight, is it Luke?"
"No mom it's not Luke."
My mom breathes a sigh of relief and I stop my pacing to stare at her. "Don't look at me like that Tanner," she told me and I asked her what the sigh was for. "You've been going out with Luke a lot in the past couple weeks and you are almost 30 and single and..."
"What?" I tripped over my feet as I moved towards the table, I couldn't believe what she was saying. "Mom I'm not gay!"
"There would be nothing wrong with it if you were Tanner, I know a couple nice young men who -"
"Mom!" I kid you not when I tell you I squeaked when I said 'mom'. "I'm waiting for a girl! A very pretty girl who I happen to work with. Did I mention she's pretty?"
My mom, the wonderful aging deaf broad that she is, continued on. "...there's Pete, he's a nice one...oh but he has a boyfriend...although he's not a very nice boy..."
"MOM!" I dropped to my knees in front of her, she was killing me. "I'M NOT GAY! I'M WAITING FOR A HOT GIRL WHO DRIVES ME SO INSANE I JUST WANT TO..." I stop short as I realized I was about to tell my mother - and anyone within hearing distance - that I wanted to rip Sara's clothes off her and have my way with her, over and over again.
"That's nice Tanner," she patted my cheek and smiled. "So tell me about this girl."
FUCK! I didn't see it coming but some how mom always manages to get me to tell her about a girl that I'm interested in and the moment I tell her? She thinks she has my permission to go to that girl and try to set me up! It's so fucking embarrassing.
"I don't really know that much about her mom," I started but I heard a car outside the house so I quickly kissed her on the cheek and told her I'd see her later.
Without even looking, I knew my mom was watching out the window, trying to get a look at Sara. "You have no idea how happy I am to see...what's wrong?" I turned towards her when I was in the middle of speaking and doing up my seat belt, she looked like crap - crap that had been crying. "Sara?" I went to touch her arm but she batted my hand away and slipped the car into drive.
She turned onto the highway, heading into town and she just drove. She didn't speak or take her eyes off the road once. She drove until there was no road left to drive on - the road ended at the lake that the town was named after. When she parked the car, she got out and ran towards the railing around the lake. I hopped out of the car and took off after her, getting there just as she climbed onto the railing and swung her legs out over.
"Whoa!" I grabbed her around the waist, pulling her back against my chest, holding her there. "What the hell are you doing?" She told me she wasn't doing anything. "Then you want to come off the railing?"
"No," she told me but didn't say anything else, not even when I asked her what was wrong again.
I was scared shitless to let her go, the water was really deep and really cold. Yes, I was afraid she'd jump. So I held her, which did absolutely nothing to keep my hormones under control.
Twenty minutes passed and she was shivering in my arms, the wind coming off the lake was cold. "Tanner I want to get down."
I helped her down and thought we would head back to the car where it was warmer but she grabbed my hand and led me away from the car; down along the walking trail around the lake. We must have walked ten minutes before she suddenly turned around and headed back towards the car.
When we were back in the comfort of the car, she turned to me. "Is it ok if we don't go to the party tonight?" I told her it was. We drove around town for a couple minutes and then she turned into the Movie Gallery parking lot. I didn't know what she was doing and I wasn't about to ask her, I was just happy to be spending time with her outside work. And the best thing? She held my hand, or touched me the entire time we were browsing through the movie selection. She picked out a couple of the 'Nightmare on Elm Street' movies.
Back in her car again, she headed towards my house. I was disappointed when she pulled into the drive but I didn't let her know that. "Well, I guess I'll see you later." I went to get out but she grabbed my hand and asked if it would be ok with my parents if she came in for a while.
"I just don't want to go home yet," she told me and then said we could watch the movies she picked out.
My parents were still up when I walked into the house again. "Tanner?" My mom wandered into the kitchen from the living room where her and my dad were watching the news. "Is something wrong?" She asked and stopped short when she saw Sara standing in the doorway. "Oh hello," she smiled at Sara and then shot me a questioning look.
Fuck! I knew that look behind the questioning one, it was the 'I'm going to see if she likes you like that' look, aka the 'I'm going to embarrass the hell out of you' look.
I introduced them as I tried to send mom a look of my own that said, 'please I beg you, on all that is holy, don't embarrass me!'
"It's nice to met you," Sara smiled at my mom and then showed her the bag with the movies in it. "Is it ok if we watched a couple movies?" She asked and then added, "Oh! Your husband and you are watching something, I'm sorry' when she saw the flickering of the TV. Turning towards me she said that maybe she should get going after all.
I went to ask her about not wanting to go home when my mom told her that I had a TV in my room and we could watch movies in there. "Just leave the door open Tanner."
If only the floor would've opened up and swallowed me whole right then!
Sara and I ended upstairs in my room, sitting side by side on my bed - with the door opened! - watching the first 'Nightmare' movie. A half hour into the movie, my mom poked her head into my room and then walked in with a tray of drinks, chips and popcorn. "If you need anything else Sara just tell Tanner and he'll get it." Turning to me my mom told me her and dad were going to bed. And then she did it, the embarrassing thing that I knew she would do at some point in the night. But this time it was ten times worst than anything she's ever done. Worst than the setting up, worst than...everything!
My. Mom. Kissed. Me. On. The. Lips. In. Front. Of. Sara. And. Said. Good. Night. My. Cute. Little. Man.
The floor...open up...take me now!
But it didn't. My mom left the room and I died a slow painful death.
And Sara? Laughed her ass off. "Shut up," I told her and hit her with my pillow which she took to laugh into so my parents wouldn't hear her.
The rest of the night she would turn to me and ask if 'mommy's little man' was afraid of the scary guy with the long fingernails.
Some where in the middle of the third movie we fell asleep. I woke up Saturday morning with the biggest hard on ever! And Sara's firm ass planted right against it!

Making A Date?
Thursday I was off in my own little world as I worked my way through the mountain of skids that was pets. I didn't notice I was being watched nor did I hear my name being called repeatedly.
"Tanner!" I jumped, spinning around to see Sara laughing at me. "Finally!" She came closer to me, "I've been trying to get your attention for a while now!"
"Sorry," I mumbled and continued to work on the bags of dog food I had in front of me. "What did you want?"
She didn't answer me right away, when I glanced at her she was frowning as she studied me. "What is wrong? You don't seem like your self." I tried to tell her that everything was fine but she didn't believe me. "Come on Tanner, if there's something bothering you, you know you can talk to me right?"
I grabbed an 18kg bag of dog food and tossed it in it's home before I stood up to look at her again. "Now that you mention it, there is something bothering me."
"Oh?" She moved in even closer to me, she had to tilt her head back to look up at me. I can't even begin to tell you how hot it is to have a chick gazing up at you, even if there is a worried look on her face. I wanted to pick her up and place her on her back on the skid I was working on, I wanted to hear her moaning like the other night when I was massaging her shoulders. "Well are you going to tell me what's wrong?"
I coughed, half laughed as I turned from her, fuck I was horny.
"Tanner?" She didn't let up, her hand was now on my arm and she was right in front of me. If I lifted my hand, I could've felt her up without even trying. "What's bothering you?"
My eyes jumped to hers and I held them. "You," I told her without hesitation.
Sara rolled her eyes, "I'm not bothering you!" She crossed her arms over her chest and glared at me. "You were bothered before I come over here!"
I raised a brow, smiling as my eyes travelled down to her chest, she had this habit of always crossing her arms over her chest, pushing her tits upwards, I was starting to think she did it on purpose. "What can I say? You are very bothersome."
"Tanner!" She dropped her arms and smacked me in the chest. "I hate it when you do that!"
"Then stop teasing me," I watched her turn red, it was so cute.
"I don't mean too," she said softly, she wasn't looking at me anymore and I knew I crossed the line, she was really embarrassed.
"Hey now," my hands were on her shoulders as I tried to get her to look at me again. "I'm just playing with you," I caught her eye and gave her a smile. "Promise not to beat me up?"
"I guess not," she went to cross her arms again but stopped. "What were you really thinking about when I came over?"
I leaned back against the skid of dog food. "My ex emailed me this morning, she said she wanted to see me and she would be passing through this area Sunday morning."
"This is a bad thing?"
I shrugged, "I don't know she didn't give any indication of why she wanted to see me."
"Do you want to see her again?"
"Sara, I spent 4 years of my life with her. I would probably still be with her if I didn't make some really dumb choices and lost everything we had. The last time I saw her, she was throwing shit at me, screaming that if she ever saw me again, she would kill me." I chuckled, "So I'm a little weary about seeing her, I'm not sure I want to die yet."
"Do you have any idea what she would want now?"
I shook my head, "No I don't." She went on to ask me how long it was since I saw her and a few other questions and then she asked me one that I had been avoiding asking myself.
"Could she be having your baby?" I told her I hoped not and she seemed to get a little upset about that. "You don't want children?"
"At one time I would've welcomed the idea of children with her but now? Sara we aren't together, I don't have anything to offer her or any child and frankly, I'm not even sure I want to be tied to her like that."
Just when I thought Sara was going to be sympathetic, she surprised me. "Well by your recent behaviour, I would say you don't see to care who you might get 'tied' too." I didn't have a chance to reply, she spun around and left me there gawking after her.
And I didn't even know why she came over in the first place!
She wouldn't talk to me on first break, did I happen to mention that I fucking hate being ignored? God really? Fuck!
At lunch, I didn't give her a chance to even go to the staffroom, I was waiting for her by the time clock, once she punched out, I grabbed her hand and pulled her down the hallway to the training room. "We need to talk," I told her as I closed the door behind us.
"I don't want to talk," she went for the door but I grabbed her around the waist and held her back.
"I fucking hate it when you ignore me!" I snapped at her. "Yell, scream, throw things, I don't fucking care, just don't ignore me!" Up until that point she was struggling against me, and it was starting to get to me, if you know what I mean.
"Tanner please let me go," she sounded so weird as she grew stiff in my arms. "Please?"
I immediately released her and she spun around, glaring at me. "Who the hell do you think you are? How dare you grab me like that!" She came at me, punching me in the chest as she flipped out.
"Whoa," I grabbed her hands and held them against my chest. "Sara?" Her shoulders were shaking and soon I heard the sniffling. Fuck! "Sara?" I felt like crap as she lifted her tear streaked face towards me. "Oh Sara, I'm sorry." I tried to wipe the tears away but they kept coming. "Please don't cry, I might be tempted to join you," I was trying to make her stop and that helped get a chuckle from her.
We didn't speak as she tried to get herself under control. When she finally turned back to me, she asked me to never do that again. I promised her I wouldn't. Then I asked her why she came over earlier.
She laughed, "I wanted to know more about this party you mentioned."
"Oh!" I had completely forgotten about Luke's party. "It's at Luke's," I told her and she cringed. "I take it that means you don't want to go?"
She shook her head.
"Not even if I'm there?"
She gave me a smile but still shook her head. "I'm sorry Tanner."
"Fine," I sighed. "I'll sit at home on Friday, staring at the walls."
"Tanner," she shook her head again.
"Oh! I know! Maybe my parents will want to hang out with me." I smiled but then frowned, "But they like to be in bed by ten, so I guess it'll be an early night for me."
"I'm not going Tanner," she was smiling, so I knew it was ok.
"It'll be a fun night though, sitting between my parents on the couch watching reruns of TV shows that are older than me as they take turns snoring in my ear." She started to walk towards the door. "Oh! And I guess it's ok that they tend to lean towards the center when they fall asleep, I've always wanted to be close to my parents!" She walked out the door, shaking her head and I followed her. "I just hope they don't drool this time."
She spun around to face me and laughed, "Ok fine! I'll be there at 10." She held up her hand, pointing her finger at me. "Don't make me wait." She turned around again and headed off towards the staffroom.
"I'll be the one halfway down the highway waiting for you!" I called after her.
Last night, we didn't make it to Luke's.

Nothing Happening
Nothing is happening, all I've done in the last couple days is sleep. When I sleep, I dream. And then I wake up scared shitless!
See I dream that I'm out some where, I'm having fun. Sara is there most of the time, other times she arrives later. I'm always happy to see her in my dreams, I always go to her but as soon as I get to her, my dream changes. I'm no longer having fun, Claire is there pulling me away from Sara. Claire tells me that Sara is evil and trying to kill me, I never believe her and somehow I managed to get back with Sara.
And then she goes all crazy and starts chasing me around freaking out about all the 'whores' I've been screwing behind her back. I tell her I screwed some of them while she was watching and she does some kind of battle cry before leaping at me.
I wake up freaking out like a scared little boy.
I'm starting to think that working nights is getting to me, maybe I should look for something during the day since I don't really help out at my parents store that often.
My brother came into town last night, he told me that if I wanted I could move in with him and his family until I find a place of my own. He wants me to try for a job with the company he works for but I don't know, I'm not sure I want to work on the rigs; sure the money is good but I wouldn't have any more of a life than I do now.
Huh!
My messenger just told me that I got a new e-mail from my ex, I wonder what she wants...

Party Planning
Luke called me before I went to work last night, he wanted to let me know that he was having a party on Friday night so they weren't going out to the bar. "Ummm, you can...umm bring some one if you like."
"Someone?"
"Yeah umm....just don't bring Claire. If you show up with her, I'll have to drown you."
I laughed, "Was there someone in particular you wanted me to bring?" I knew the answer to that, I just wanted to rag on him.
"Now that you mentioned it, if Sara isn't busy..."
I told him I would think about it.
Last night when she was in the middle of putting out candle jars, I went over to her. "So there's this party on Friday, did you want to go?" I must have scared her because she dropped the jar that was in her hand and it shattered. "Sara are you ok?" She was standing in the middle of the shards of glass just staring at me.
Before she could answer, Billy came out of nowhere and asked if she was hurt. Slowly she turned to look at him and that seemed to pull her from the place she was in her head. She looked down at the glass. "Oh no!' She went to pick up the pieces but Billy stopped her, telling her they would call for maintenance to clean it up.
"So what happened?" He asked her as he glared at me. "Why are you over here?"
"Same reason you are?"
"Why don't you get back to work and leave Sara alone?" He stepped between Sara and me. "I'm sure you have more than enough to keep you busy."
I wanted to punch the little bastard out just for thinking he was able to tell me what to do.
"Billy," Sara's hand curved around his arm and he turned towards her. "I'm ok, everything is ok here. Why don't you both go back to work? I have so much to do here."
He asked her if she was sure, she said yes and then he turned to me and gave me this dirty look before he walked away.
Just to spite him, I stuck around for a few more minutes. "So the party?"
"Tanner, I don't think it would be a good idea."
I frowned, "Why not?"
"Well," she played with the plastic from around one of the candles. "It's just that..." she blushed. "I just don't think that...well..."
Maintenance came to clean up the glass, ending the conversation that we were having. "We'll talk about it later," I told her and headed back to my area.
I didn't get a chance to talk to her until lunch, at first break Billy was occupying most of her time. But at lunch, we were the first ones in the staffroom. "So about the party," I pulled up a chair beside her. "I think you should really go, it will be a lot of fun."
"Tanner," she sighed as she rubbed her neck and shoulders.
"What's wrong?"
"I think I moved the wrong way," she groaned. "My shoulders are so sore, I'm trying to ease the pain."
"Here," I turned my chair towards her and lifted my hand to her shoulder. "Let me get that for you, I happen to be very good at this."
Reluctantly she turned her back to me, she seemed so tense as I started to massage her shoulders but soon she relaxed and I was able to work in the muscles properly.
By this time everyone else was coming into the staff room, no one said anything but they were giving us looks. When Billy walked in, he stopped short and I got a dirty look again.
"Mmmm Tanner that feels so good!" Sara's groan came out of nowhere. "Oh! Mmmm!"
Her moans triggered a reaction in me that I didn't expect, I was getting really turned on I had to stop touching her. When I pulled my hands back from her, she turned and started at me. "What's wrong?" She asked, she looked confused but the look deep in her eyes wasn't one of confusion at all, she was enjoying the massage more than she should've.
"Nothing," I squeaked a little when I said that. I turned away from her and stared at my lunch.
"Tanner?" She touched my arm and I jumped.
"My mother made meatloaf for supper." What? Why the hell did I say that? I have no idea, even now I feel really stupid for saying that but it gave me something to concentrate on instead of the memory of how it felt to touch her and hear her moans.
And let's just say, the memory is so damn good, I'm feeling a little stirring right now. I didn't get to talk to her about the party again, Billy kept 'showing' up whenever I was near her. I really think that guy needs to get a life, I'm sure that Sara isn't interested in a smothering loser like him.
Right?
In other news, it's been a couple day and I haven't seen or heard from Claire, maybe she is serious about not seeing me again.
I could really use her right now...

Just Another Day
Let's talk about last night at work.
I don't really want to talk about it because frankly work isn't that exciting but some times life isn't all that exciting.
Although I wasn't really looking forward to working, I was a little relieved that Sara wouldn't be there - with last night being a stat, Sara had the night off.
Or she was supposed too! Why was she at work? There should be a law against coming in on days that you are supposed to be off! It totally screws people up when they were hoping that they would have another day before being told what an ass they were over the weekend.
I got to work and she wasn't there so I didn't think she would be there but five minutes before our shift starts, she comes waltzing in the staffroom with Billy, laughing at some stupid joke he made.
"What are you doing here?" I blurted out the second I saw her and everyone turned to see what was going on.
Sara stopped, looked at me and then asked Billy what happened next in whatever story he was telling her. She walked by me without so much as a hello! God I hate that! Why do people do that? If you are mad at me then fucking tell me you are mad at me! Yell, scream, throw things - I don't care! - just don't fucking ignore me!
I was fuming as we all headed up to the front for the meeting. I decided that there was no way I was letting her ignore me, by the end of the meeting she was either going to be talking to me or yelling at me.
Normally when we are all up front, she sits on the little counter for till 6 and Billy sits on the part where the cashier puts the items that they've already rung in. I would normally stand off on the edge of the group just waiting to get the night started so I could go home but not last night! I waited until they were seated and then I made my way over to them and I leaned against the counter across from Sara.
I could feel her eyes as they tried to burn holes in the back of my head.
When the meeting was over, I purposely got in her way, she was blocked in the little space the cashier stood all day. She would go to the left and I would move into her way so she tried for the right and I was there too. She was getting upset, I could see it in her eyes but I didn't care.
After a couple minutes, she finally snapped. "Tanner get out of my way!"
Silence fell over the store as everyone turned from getting carts to look over at us. And then she did the cutest thing, she blushed, big time. "Please move," she said quietly.
"Tell me why you are trying to ignore me."
She closed her eyes for a moment and I swear she was counting to herself because her lips were moving. "I just want to go to work Tanner," she sounded so sad when she spoke, it surprised me.
"What's wrong?" My eyes narrowed as I stared at her, she looked like she always did. Maybe a little more tired than normal though, was she sleeping enough?
"Nothing," she sighed. "I'm not ignoring you, I'm not mad I just..." she sighed again. "I thought you were different Tanner," she pushed past me and headed off to her areas.
I wanted to tell her I was different but I knew she wouldn't believe me. The guy I've been since I've gotten back isn't the guy I was before. That guy was a fool who let everyone take advantage of him and he lost all he had. I didn't want to be that guy again.
I went to pets and was working away when the manager came over the PA system and told everyone to meet up at the front. Once everyone had arrived the manager told us that since it was Canada Day she was letting us watch the fireworks. Everyone started to talk at once, they were all excited about it.
We were lead outside where the manager had some cold pop set up for us and some chairs for those who wanted to sit.
I was standing off from the rest of the group as we waited for the fireworks to start.
When the first fireworks went off, everyone oohed and awwed but I wasn't watching the sky; i was watching Sara. For the first time since I met her, she was standing off by herself. She was staring upwards so she didn't see me as I walked up behind her.
"Since when do you hang out alone?" I whispered against her ear.
I scared her, she jumped and gave a little squeal. "Tanner!" She whacked me across the arm when she spun around. "Don't sneak up on me like that!"
"You made it so easy," I told her as I laughed.
"Whatever," she tried to hide a smile as she turned back to the fireworks. "I just love fireworks," she said. "They are so pretty and the popping sound," she looked over her shoulder at me. "I feel it here," she held her hand against her chest.
My eyes automatically went to her tits.
"Tanner!" She whacked me again. "Don't do that!" She crossed her arms over her chest, trying to cover up her tits.
"That doesn't really do anything, you know that right?"
Sara seemed a little defensive all of a sudden. "There's more to me than just my rack Tanner."
I bent back and gazed down at her ass, "Why yes there is," I gave her a smile.
"Tanner!" She whacked me again. "That's not what I meant!"
I couldn't help but laugh, "I know."
For some reason unknown to me, even as I write this now, I nudged her with my hip and told her she was alright.
